MORE ABOUT US
WELCOME
Welcome to Ramona Lutheran Church and School Pre-kindergarten. We appreciate your time in reviewing our website and hope it has provided some helpful information regarding what our school has to offer.
RLCS offers a loving Christian child-centered environment. Our nurturing and experienced staff is dedicated to helping your child make a smooth transition from home to Kindergarten and beyond. We offer an individualized program that facilitates the developmental level of most 2½-year-old children up to age six, regardless of previous experience. The goals of our staff are to help your child progress to the next level by engaging their creativity and offering activities that hold their interest.
Additionally, the Classical Christian Education which we utilize provides a learning environment to advance your child's knowledge in all of the core subjects. Students receive instruction in language arts, math, science, and music.
Class sizes maintain an average student-teacher ratio of 12. We provide a safe environment while teaching and modeling caring Christian conduct. RLCS provides a family atmosphere where home and school work together to help each child reach their potential.
We would love the opportunity to meet you and your child personally and encourage you to schedule a tour. If you are not familiar with the Montessori Method, during the tour we will be happy to explain further as you see the classroom in action. You can schedule a tour by selecting the “schedule a tour” button or contacting me at office@ramona.lutheran.org or at 760-789-4804 to learn more.

OUR BELIEFS
RLCS accepts and acknowledges all the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible as the inspired, revealed, and inerrant Word of God, and accepts and acknowledges all the Symbolical Books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a true and sound exposition of Christian Doctrine taken from and in full agreement with the Holy Scriptures.
RLCS acknowledges, accepts and believes that all who have been brought to faith in Jesus Christ are commissioned by Him to preserve and extend the kingdom of God. This is done by proclaiming to all, in the most effective means possible, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through the Work of the Holy Spirit, this proclamation changes hearts and lives and brings victory and comfort to individuals who are declared totally and unconditionally righteous for Christ’s sake.
RLCS acknowledges, accepts, and believes that Holy Scripture gives guidance for our interrelationships and direction for our teaching. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of RLCS’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Church Pastor (and School Board) is RLCS’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
We seek to do God’s will in all our teaching and learning as we profess our belief and acceptance of the words of Christ. We strive to follow His admonition to "love one another" and encourage our students to practice this as well.
